Bioinformatics Developer | Overview
As a Bioinformatics Developer, you will work alongside world-class scientists, bioinformatics, and developers to advance the discovery of new biologic medicine. Working closely with world-class scientists, bioinformaticians, and developers to advance the discovery of new biologic medicine. In this role, you will develop and maintain production quality bioinformatics analysis pipelines for single-cell BCR NGS, protein property prediction, etc.
Bioinformatics Developer | Role Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on creation, monitoring, and tuning of event-driven applications using Python in a production environment.
- Basic understanding of molecular biology – DNA/RNA/protein sequence and structure, cells, NGS.
- Understanding of OOP, data structures, and error handling.
- Consuming and exposing data through REST APIs.
- Strong Python Development required.
- Experience developing scientific pipelines with rigorous engineering strongly preferred.
- Understanding of statistics and data visualization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to see the big picture and the details, and are skilled in asking questions to evoke new insights.
