Automation BA | About You

As an Automation Business Analyst (BA), you are responsible for assessing and analyzing processes, people, technology, and data across Supply Chain Operations. You will focus on areas such as product management, sourcing & contracts data, req to PO process, GHX integration, supplier compliance, inventory management, RFID management, clinical charge/billing flow, and Oracle Item Master flows. Your role involves designing and implementing automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and streamline business processes while collaborating closely with stakeholders and automation engineers to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.

Automation BA | Day-to-Day

  • Assess and analyze processes across Supply Chain Operations, including product management, sourcing data, req to PO process, and GHX integration.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process diagrams, process definition documentation, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of automated processes, including integration and dependencies with Nuvia and CCX products (EDI data and processes).
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of automation solutions, focusing on supplier compliance, inventory management, RFID management, clinical charge/billing flow, and Oracle Item Master flows.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project teams effectively, highlighting revenue cycle impacts and process efficiencies.

Automation BA | Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on automation and process improvement projects in Supply Chain Operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify automation opportunities, specifically related to product management, req to PO process, and GHX integration.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques such as process diagramming, requirements elicitation, and user story creation.
  • Experience with automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), Intelligent Automation (IA), workflow automation, and scripting languages is highly desirable, especially in the context of Supplier compliance, Inventory management, and Oracle Item Master flows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, focusing on Revenue Cycle impacts and cost-value evaluations for automation projects.
