This is a fully remote role operating on EST.

Backend Software Engineer | About You

As a Backend Software Engineer, you are responsible for consistently and efficiently communicating with project teams and other developers regarding progress along with the technology roadmap. You will be handed to the keyboard, producing high-quality code, building custom API, and leveraging third-party integration platforms to achieve product development goals.

Backend Software Engineer | Day-to-Day

Write code, build prototypes, solve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability.
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on GCP.

Backend Software Engineer | Skills & Experience

5+ years of progressive Backend Software Engineering experience.
Excellent Python, SQL, Docker, & Git Knowledge.
Skilled in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and IoT technologies.
Experience with third-party API integration and building API Gateways.
Interfacing with IBM Cloud and IBM Connected Vehicle Insights experience is a bonus.
