OCM Specialist | About You
As an OCM Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of change management strategies that facilitate smooth transitions in business processes, systems, and technology. Your role involves actively engaging with stakeholders, aligning leadership, and fostering employee adoption of new initiatives. With your change management expertise, you will assess the impact of changes, develop communication plans, and deliver training to ensure all team members are equipped for transformation.
OCM Specialist | Day-to-Day
Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess organizational readiness, develop change management strategies, and create actionable and targeted change management plans.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the change effort.
Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders, acting as an active and visible coach throughout the change process.
Develop and deliver communications relevant to change initiatives, helping to articulate the need, benefits, and process of change to all levels of the organization.
Create and manage measurement systems to track the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.
Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
OCM Specialist | Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in an Organizational Change Management role, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with a good understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.
Proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders at different levels within an organization.
