This is a fully remote role operating on EST/CST.

Sr. Analyst, Marketing Statistician | About You

As a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Statistician, you will optimize direct marketing spend and overall marketing maturity by independently supporting the Lead Statistician on critical analyses of complex and highly visible marketing campaigns. You will build customer profiles and statistical models to improve campaign performance. This is an opportunity for you to provide input into marketing strategies by providing analytical customer insights including developing and refining customer segmentations. You can understand, categorize and translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. You can evaluate quantitative data sets and determine “big picture” implications while problem-solving and distilling large amounts of data into actionable insights while monitoring results and optimizing marketing performance.

Sr. Analyst, Marketing Statistician | Day-to-Day

  • Translate business needs into predictive models to improve marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and refine customer and market segments, profiles, and targeted audiences.
  • Presents models and conclusions around marketing test designs to upper leadership.
  • Analyze and monitor the results of marketing initiatives and report on marketing campaign performance where necessary.
  • Consult on ways to improve marketing results and proactively mine data warehouses to identify key trends and analytic insights.
  • Work closely with third-party data providers on data and database-related items.

Sr. Analyst, Marketing Statistician | Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in building marketing models and conducting marketing analytics.
  • Advanced ability to design and implement analytical databases from scratch and implement efficient data sourcing strategies (batch and real-time) and effectively partner with the business to increase marketing revenue.
  • Marketing or Sales Analytics Industry experience is required.
  • Previous experience with the following: SAS, Python, Stata, and R is a plus
  • Machine learning tools like Dataiku,, and DataRobot are preferred.
