This is a remote position and candidates must be able to work in EST and CST time zones.

Lead Sitecore Developer | About You

As a Lead Sitecore Developer, you are responsible for designing, installing, developing, and implementing custom Sitecore projects utilizing Sitecore API. You will effectively integrate HTML with Sitecore to create and enhance website pages. You are comfortable working independently and collaboratively with teams on various complex projects. You will serve as a technical consultant and SME on numerous projects. You possess lean-agile leadership expertise and can quickly ingest technical information and apply it in a meaningful way.

Lead Sitecore Developer | Day-to-Day

  • Act as team lead and liaison for large projects and provide oversight to the work that onshore and offshore developers are producing.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate those into technological solutions.
  • Build custom solutions within Sitecore and integrate web applications with 3rd party and legacy applications.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and document code to ensure applications are error-free and yield high-quality results.
  • Create and produce technical documentation and diagrams for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise to applications and continuously evolve and maintain applications periodically.

Lead Sitecore Developer | Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of Sitecore Development experience with a recent focus on Sitecore 9.0+ and a proven track record of successfully leading Sitecore implementations.
  • Strong Sitecore knowledge including an understanding of Sitecore DXP features and capabilities, background with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), and experience implementing Sitecore in load-balanced or cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
  • Background in Search Technology such as Azure Search, Lucene, SOLR, or Coveo.
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, JSS, Helix, ASP.Net/MVC, HTML5 with Bootstrap and JavaScript.
  • Skilled with Glass, TDS, Unicorn, Azure interfaces, and Visual Studio Tools.
