Infrastructure Solution Architect | About You

As an Infrastructure Solution Architect, you are responsible for leading, analyzing, and designing tasks related to developing and managing a portfolio of IT solutions. You will support enterprise architecture by developing technological solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. You have a deep conceptual understanding of business goals, business objectives, business outcomes, value streams, and business processes and their place in solution architecture. You are comfortable managing the product lifecycle and evolution for a variety of technical solutions.

Infrastructure Solution Architect | Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with EUC (End User Compute) and Collaboration Product teams to enhance business productivity, customer satisfaction, and corporate collaboration, and reduce overall enterprise cost, ensuring support of business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create and document solution designs and analyses based on technical requirements for EUC and Collaboration systems and service areas.
• Monitor and provide feedback on current solutions to ensure continual alignment with business value over time.
• Participate in the architecture governance process to ensure adherence to standards, principles, guidelines, and solution patterns.
• Lead the overall product/service lifecycle and end-of-life decisions while also maintaining contact with vendors to manage agreements and licensing.
• Proactively identify opportunities that exist between the current state and the target state architecture, and establish plans that include the level of effort, cost, duration, and risk to close the gaps or capitalize on opportunities.

Infrastructure Solution Architect | Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience and 5+ years focused on information technology solutions leveraging key technologies – Microsoft, Azure, O365, etc.
• Expertise with industry best practices and frameworks, such as but not limited to NIST, COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, PMI, etc.
• Solid foundation in core IT department capabilities such as Project Management, Business Relationship Management, Security, IT Operations, etc.
• Experience leading or overseeing solution architecture for platform services to provide capabilities including MS Office 365 and Azure ecosystems (SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, Autopilot, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive) as part of either Product or Project teams.
• Background in supporting solution delivery in various implementation approaches (Waterfall, Agile/SCRUM, Iterative, etc.).
