Fivetran Data Engineer | About You
As a Fivetran Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Fivetran to ensure the seamless integration and transformation of data from diverse sources into our data warehouse. Leveraging your expertise in Fivetran and DBT (Data Build Tool), you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop robust solutions that align with our business objectives.
Fivetran Data Engineer | Day-to-Day
- Architect and build data pipelines utilizing Fivetran to extract, load, and transform data from multiple sources into our data warehouse, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficiency throughout the process.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather and analyze data requirements, translating them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuously optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance and scalability, implementing best practices to ensure optimal data integration and transformation processes.
- Develop automation scripts or utilize CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to automate the deployment and management of data pipelines built with Fivetran, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployment processes.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and troubleshooting to identify bottlenecks and optimize pipeline efficiency.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.
Fivetran Data Engineer | Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of proven experience working as a Data Engineer with a focus on data integration and transformation.
- Strong proficiency using Fivetran for data integration and DBT for data transformation.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Skilled in problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration, essential for resolving technical challenges, ensuring data accuracy, and fostering teamwork across departments.
