Business Analyst | About You
As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for driving process improvements by analyzing and optimizing workflows, particularly in payment processing and denial management. With your expertise in EDI 385 processing and automation technologies, you’ll lead initiatives to reduce manual tasks and enhance efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Your ability to translate complex business needs into actionable, data-driven solutions will be key to driving innovation and streamlining operations.
Business Analyst | Day-to-Day
- Analyze and document current EDI 835 processing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and IT, to gather requirements and design AI-assisted solutions for payment processing and denial management.
- Lead the discovery and planning phases to assess data quality, define performance benchmarks, and create actionable strategies for workflow automation.
- Ensure seamless system integration by working closely with developers to implement automation solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and APIs.
- Regularly collaborate with offshore teams to gather requirements, conduct reviews, and track project progress, ensuring seamless coordination across different time zones and maintaining alignment with project goals.
- Continuously monitor, iterate, and optimize implemented solutions, gathering user feedback and ensuring compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Business Analyst | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on EDI processing, payment systems, or automation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of EDI 835 processing workflows and payment processing systems, with the ability to analyze and improve them.
- Proven experience working with offshore teams, utilizing strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery across different regions.
- Experience with AI-assisted automation solutions and familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and security requirements in payment and denial management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of API integration and system testing methodologies is a plus.
