This position is a Hybrid role with remote flexibility operating on EST. Candidates local to Indianapolis, IN, or regional to the Midwest will be given preference.
Power BI Tech Lead | About You
As a Power BI Tech Lead, you are responsible for building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise client. You possess experience in all stages of BI project work such as requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You consistently have a firm grasp of BI implementation and have in-depth experience with the Microsoft Power BI stack. You can effectively demonstrate a strong knowledge of database technical functionality such as performance, security, and reliability.
Power BI Tech Lead | Day-to-Day
Architect, design, and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions based on Microsoft Power BI platform.
Define BI framework model, semantic layers, and Metadata repositories to support reporting and administration.
Collaborate with key decision-makers to define user requirements for web systems, dashboards, and reports.
Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
Develop, optimize, and support ETL processes using Stored Procedures and Microsoft SSIS.
Power BI Tech Lead | Skills & Experience
7+ years of BI Architecture and Data warehousing and modeling experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI including PowerQuery, PowerView, and PowerPivot.
Highly skilled in statistical analysis and experience using SQL, R, Python, and Tableau.
Background with Azure Data Warehouse and Azure Document DB.
Ability to analyze user requirements and create front-end BI applications according to specifications.
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
